Login into WordPress and go to the newly created product page.

2. In the Page Attributes section (On the right hand side under the Publish section)

3. Look for where it says Order

4. You will need to add the number of which position this product should be in. Ordering begins with 0 not 1. So the very first product will be 0 and the second will be 1.

5. After you have added a order number make sure to adjust your other products accordingly. So if you add a new product in the middle of the old products you will have to adjust the order numbers of the pages that come after it.

MediaTemple claims this to be an “application-level” exploit (e.g. WordPress, Drupal, or other app), however all domains on our grid server account have been compromised while none (0) domains on our dedicated virtual accounts have been compromised.  We believe it to be both a WordPress 2.9 vulnerability as well as a vulnerability in MediaTemple’s Grid Server Accounts. We believe the virus to be crawling the entire grid server, looking for “scripts” directories, and injecting code into javascript files, and creating php files.

You Are Infected When

  • You have new admin users in your WordPress control panel. (e.g. “JohnnyA” or “JohnnyB” or “amin”) whom you did not create
  • Extra code inserted into the head of your javascript files “scripts” directory (e.g. jquery-min.js)
  • You get a virus alert message when visiting your website.

Description

From what we can tell: The virus exploits an older version of WordPress (prior to 3.01), and injects code into javascript files, php files, and even wordpress posts which then download viruses to the visitor’s computer.  These virus’ have been known to seriously damage users computers.

Protecting Yourself

The good news is – if you are running an updated virus protection suite (including AVG or Avast (both free)), it will block the virus.  If you are not, please – update or install virus protection asap.

Also, if you are not running the latest version of WordPress, we will need to upgrade it soon.  The latest version of WordPress addresses and fixes this exploit.

Configure IMAP access in Outlook 2007

Follow the instructions below to set up IMAP access in Outlook 2007.

How to do it

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. For new setups, select Do not upgrade.
  3. Click Yes.
  4. Enter your display name, full Google Apps mail address (including ‘@your-domain.com’), and password.
  5. Select the ‘Manually configure server settings or additional server types’ checkbox.

  6. Select Internet E-mail.
  7. Settings: name, full Google Apps mail address (including ‘@your_domain.com’)
    • In the Account Type dropdown menu, select IMAP; enter the incoming and outgoing server names shown below.
    • In the ‘User Name’ field, give your full Gmail address, including ‘@your_domain.com.’
    • After creating these settings, clicking Next takes you to the end of the setup.

  8. In the Tools menu, select Options then Mail Setup. Under ‘Email Accounts,’ click E-mail Accounts.
  9. Select an account, and click Change above the list of accounts. Click More Settings, then the Advanced tab.
    • Incoming server must be 993, and must use SSL encryption.
    • Outgoing server can use 587, TLS encryption.

  10. Click the Outgoing Server tab. Make sure that ‘My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication’ is selected. The radio button ‘Use same settings as my incoming mail server’ should also be selected.

  11. Click OK > Next > Finish > Close > OK.
  12. Check our recommended client settings, and adjust your client’s settings as needed.

Configure IMAP access in Outlook 2003

Follow the instructions below to set up IMAP access in Outlook 2003.

  1. Enable IMAP in your Google mail account. Don’t forget to click Save Changes when you’re done.
  2. Open Outlook.
  3. Click the Tools menu, and select E-mail Accounts…
  4. Click Add a new e-mail account, then click Next.
  5. Choose IMAP as your server type by clicking the radio button, and click Next.
  6. Fill in all necessary fields to include the following information:

    User Information
    Your Name: Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the From: field of outgoing messages.
    Email Address: Enter your full email address (username@your_domain.com)Server Information
    Incoming mail server (IMAP): imap.gmail.com
    Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.gmail.com

    Login Information
    User Name: Enter your full email address (including @gmail.com or @your_domain.com)
    Password: Enter your Google Apps password.

  7. Click More Settings… and then click the Outgoing Server tab.
  8. Check the box next to ‘My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication’ and select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
  9. Click the Advanced tab, and check the box next to ‘This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)’ under Incoming Server (IMAP).
  10. Check the box next to ‘This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)’ under Outgoing Server (SMTP), and enter 465 in the Outgoing server (SMTP) box.
  11. Click OK.
  12. Click Test Account Settings… After receiving the message ‘Congratulations! All tests completed successfully’, click Close.
  13. Click Next, and then click Finish.
  14. Download the latest updates for Outlook from Microsoft. This will help prevent the most common Outlook errors that Gmail users see.
  15. Check our recommended client settings, and adjust your client’s settings as needed.
