How to Add Images, PDF’s, Document to pages (Media Library)

To Upload & Get the Link
Use this if you are NOT editing a page, and simply want to upload a file, pdf, doc, etc.
- Login.
- Goto Media -> Add New
- Click “Select Files”
- Find the file on your computer.
- Click “Upload” or “Select”.
- Wait a little while for the file to upload.
- Add any file details that you wish (name, title, caption, etc)
- Click Save Changes
- Find the file (you may need to scroll down), and click “View”.
- Click on the Image itself to get the full link.
To Upload Media and Add a Link to Your Page
- Edit the page where you will insert your link.
- Above the page’s body, above the toolbar, To the right of “Upload/Insert”, you’ll see some small icons.
- The square is for uploading an image.
- The 2nd square looking icon is for video.
- The musical notes are for audio.
- And the last, the star icon, is for documents, pdfs, and anything else.
- Click the Star Icon.
- Since you’ve uploaded it already, click the “Media Library” Tab at the top. If it’s in the library, jump to step 9 below, if it’s not in the library, continue.
- Click the “From my computer” tab.
- Click the “select files” button.
- Find the file, and click “Open” or “Select” depending on what browser you’re using.
- Wait for the file to upload.
- Enter the file information: Title, Caption, Description if you’d like.
- Important One – For the “Link Url” field, click the “File URL” button.
- Then click “Insert into Post” and that will add the link to your page.
