Setting Up an Email Forwarder
These steps will show you how to automatically forward a copy of all messages sent to one address (john@doe.com) to a 2nd (johndoe@gmail.com).
- Login to your Plesk Server Account.
- Click on the “Home” link in the box at the top left.
- Scroll down until you see your domain name and click it.
- Click the “Mail” Icon (in the Services section)
- Click on the email address that you would like mail forwarded from (e.g. john@doe.com).
- Click the “Redirect” Icon.
- Enter the email address you would like to forward to (e.g. johndoe@gmail.com).
- Click Ok.
- If you want to keep a copy of all mail your forwarding (first) email address:
- Click on your email address (john@doe.com).
- Click on mailbox.
- Make sure the mailbox is active, and set with the default size for the domain.
- If you DON’T want to keep a copy of all mail in your forwarding email address:
- Click on your email address (john@doe.com).
- Click on mailbox.
- Make sure the mailbox is INACTIVE (or unchecked).
Voila, you’ve created your first email forwarder. Reward yourself with a twix bar.
